An Active Escape at Your Own Pace
Our Adventure Package combines the best of the region’s experiences with the culinary pleasures and deluxe comfort of Peuma Hue. Whether your passion is horseback riding, kayaking, hiking or whitewater rafting, you will enjoy every active day and the nights that follow.
For horse lovers of all skill levels, we cover flat terrain within the valley and mountain terrain up the surrounding slopes, and our horses—trained by our expert horsewhisperer guides–even swim in the lake with our guests! Our rides start at our stables, where our guide selects a suitable horse for each guest. As the horses are saddled, guests are fitted with the necessary equipment (helmet and half chaps). After checking experience levels and providing instructions, rides set off into different directions depending on skill levels.
Sea Kayakers with appreciate Peuma Hue’s unique location in the shadow of D´Agostini peak as it blesses us with calm water in the bay and along the shoreline. Our lakeside is surrounded by native forest, with huge coihue trees, waterfalls running into the lake, sunken trees seen through crystal clear waters and fuchsias and other wild flowers growing along the shore.
Peuma Hue is a paradise for those who love hiking and trekking. A large variety of trails cross pristine forest, ancient rocks, gorges, hilltops and stunning waterfalls with beautiful views over the Gutiérrez and Mascardi lakes. Walk or hike from just some minutes to a full day within the 500 acres of the property or link to the largest hiking network in Argentina (within our National Park), just behind our mountain, with no need for transfers!
For anyone looking to liven up their time at Peuma Hue, a day of whitewater rafting on the Manso River is the ideal activity. Whether it’s easy, Class II floating or more challenging Class IV whitewater, this full-day excursion will be filled with excitement, and splashy fun.
The accommodation options at Peuma Hue are as varied and unique as the setting in which they are found. From waterfront homes with capacity for up to 12, 9, 5, 4 and 2 guests, to forest hideaways overlooking the lake at our yurts up to 3 guests each. Lodging is offered on a first-come first-served basis so if you have a particular unit in mind, be sure to book early. Larger lodges can be booked in their entirety or by the room.
